As a tax administrator, the China OECD LLM Program on Fiscal Policy and Tax Law (COTP) has been very timely since the modules provide us with both theoretical and practical knowledge which is very applicable in my day to day work.

It is a two year program conducted in English and has diverse set of top-notch professors, scholars and industry leaders from the OECD, the big four audit firms and senior tax practitioners from the STA among others.

The students consist of both fresh graduates as well as tax administrators and policy makers from various countries and this has enabled me to learn from the various experiences shared by both the students and lecturers. In addition to the tax and law related courses, we are also taught the Chinese language and selected topics on China such as education, culture, climate and the economy among others.

The knowledge and experience acquired from this program will greatly enhance my work when I go back to the Uganda Revenue Authority.
