My name is Chidi Barry Chukwu, from Nigeria. I am very grateful and honoured to be part of this prestigious Master’s Degree scholarship program on Fiscal and Taxation Laws in China. This program is a unique opportunity for me to learn from the best experts and scholars in the field of fiscal and taxation laws, both from China and the OECD. I am also very impressed by the quality of education and research facilities that are available in China, as well as the rich and diverse culture and history of this country.

Since I joined this program, I have gained a lot of valuable knowledge and skills that will help me in my future career and academic endeavours. I have learned a lot about the principles and practices of fiscal and taxation laws in China, as well as the comparative and international perspectives on these issues.

I have also made many friends and connections with my fellow students and professors, who have been very supportive and helpful throughout my studies. I have enjoyed the exchange of ideas and experiences with them, and I have learned a lot from their diverse backgrounds and perspectives. I have also had the chance to explore the beautiful and city of Xiamen, Fujian Province, China, where I have experienced the hospitality and friendliness of the local people, as well as the delicious and varied cuisine.

I thank the Chinese government and the OECD for sponsoring this program and for giving me this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study in China. I would also like to thank the faculty and staff of the program for their guidance and support, and my fellow students for their friendship and cooperation. I am confident that this program will further contribute to the cooperation between Nigeria and China, as well as between Africa and Asia.
